Trinity is built from the ground up for resiliency. Communication by default uses a peer-to-peer overlay network, reinforced by an additional cryptographic layer. P3KI's system just finds its peers and works, without requiring central or per-unit administration.

Everything is built to survive outages, unidirectional, slow or unreliable links, network splits and network reunifications; all while scaling up to Internet-size networks.

At its core our storage layer is based on proven protocols powering world-spanning peer-to-peer databases like the one used by the BitTorrent network.
