Chicago Pile-2 is expected to be completed for integration at the Primary Customer in early 2017.
CP-2 is not just a reimplementation. We consider redesigning the software architecture, requirements, implementation details and the reduction of dependencies to be important steps in the evolution of solid code. However, all that would just improve code quality.

Algorithmic and behavioral improvements are at the heart of each Trinity generation we build. Employing CP-2 instances to solve an actual hard real-world problem for the Primary Customer demonstrates how we use the capabilities of the Trinity Technology to make possible what was considered impossible, and why we know exactly where the limits are.
Being able to clearly define the limits of a defensive technology is what defines the difference between passively hoping and proactively resisting attacks - the later being called resilience nowadays.
